The Importance of an Article Marketing Strategy for Your Online Business

An article marketing strategy should be a very important part of your online business plan. Why, because content is king and there may be no easier or faster way to get your content in front of your target market than through article marketing. Within your online business strategy you should have a smaller, more detailed article marketing strategy. Article marketing is the way to disseminate your content throughout the web and to begin gaining some recognition and back links.

I think of a lot of the things that I do online as article marketing. Even though there is a specific online marketing tactic known as article marketing, I see it as something much bigger. I see it as the epicenter of all of your content generation. Content will drive a lot of your internet marketing and that content has got to come from somewhere. It is usually going to begin with you writing a content piece, let’s call this an article, that you eventually publish somewhere.

Do see what I am saying? You start with a 250 – 400 word article and that article becomes a blog post, a Squidoo page, a submission to EzineArticles.com, etc… It all begins with the article.

This has helped me to tackle a lot of my traffic generation obstacles. I even formulated most of the traffic system that I am using for my internet business with the idea that all traffic (except for pay-per-click or paid advertising) starts with some sort of content or article.

I now begin every single project with an article or several articles which then get used for various purposes. But in the end, all of my content has one constant and that is that is all begins with an article.

You see, if you want to accomplish great things with your internet marketing efforts then you are going to have to succumb to the fact that you need to be thinking about generating vast amounts of content. Someway, somehow, whether you outsource or do it yourself, you need to focus on getting as much quality content out on the web as possible.

Article marketing has been producing some great results for me. It keeps me on my toes and the amount of sites that are out there just waiting to give you some quality links and traffic is innumerable.
